New tagline, new brand promise In addition to the new name and logo, the branding initiative is anchored in a new brand promise and tagline: Your best life. Our one purpose. “This new, unifying identity will help lead MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center into the future, as we move forward to create healthier, stronger communities,” says Rod Schlader, interim president of MercyOne North Iowa. “We are excited about the new brand and the opportunity to create an unmatched experience for our many valued patients.” As part of the name change and rebranding, MercyOne developed a unique culture and service engagement initiative designed to align all colleagues to deliver consistently on its mission, vision and values. New name reflects the past and the promise of the future “While the name of our organization has changed to reflect our focus on coming together as one system of care, we will continue to deliver compassionate care with the best outcomes for every patient we serve,” Ritz adds. “The name MercyOne reflects our past and the promise of our future.” Formed in 1998, MercyOne has grown into the state’s largest provider of hospital and related health services, consisting of more than 43 owned, joint venture and affiliated medical centers and hospital campuses, as well as more than 230 primary care clinics and other health facilities.
